Catch Up on PPO’s most recent smaller but helpful enhancements

In the spirit of simpler, better and faster, we’ve got some new enhancements that will improve your PPO experience.

View the number of users on the user group list page

Are you a PPO Admin that’s been thinking about doing some housekeeping on the user groups on your instance? But not knowing if there are any users in each group stopped you in your tracks. Well, thanks to a recent update, you can now view the number of active and inactive users in each user group which will make deleting unused user groups so much easier. Remember, more user groups equal more maintenance required…

One less click, when adding a filter

Filters allows users to limit their data set based on specified filter conditions. Now, any filter that you create will have the first filter item pre-loaded for you.

No more scrolling feed items on mobile devices

As more and more project teams come to rely on the conversations feature in PPO to keep communication flowing, accessing your feed on mobile devices is just another way to stay informed. With this change, selecting an item in your feed from your mobile device takes you straight to the item without needing to scroll through the item’s information.

If you haven’t started using conversations yet and you missed our previous quarterly product webinar, watch the recording from 38:40 where Christian Kriel of Mondi shares how conversations have aided more effective resource allocation for engineering activities on their projects.

BI API gets an upgrade

PPO’s BI API allows you to connect to any BI reporting tool and turn PPO’s raw data into insightful and interactive reports and dashboards. The BI API now supports free text fields but limits them to 2500 characters and includes the markdown text formatting.

Give your public holidays a title

Public holidays in PPO ensure that the non-working days are considered when determining capacity for resource planning and time entries. Non-working days are shown as red block on the PPO calendar. To prepare for our new soon to be released calendar widget, we now support titles on public holidays. We’ve taken it one step further by updating all previous public holidays on your PPO instance and loading 2024 public holidays for your already.

We do our very best to make PPO better every day, so we’d love to hear your feedback on these latest enhancements.
