Webinar Recap: Smarter Scheduling, Resource Assignments & Approval Automation in PPO

This June we hosted the second instalment of our 2025 quarterly product webinar series — and what an insightful session it was!

With a strong turnout, the spotlight was firmly on smarter collaboration and planning through multiple resource assignments, a long-awaited feature that eliminates the need to duplicate tasks, risks, issues, or actions for each assignee. Users can now allocate multiple team members to a single item, making task management and resource allocation simpler, especially when working directly off the PPO Scheduler.

Key Feature Highlights

The webinar also showcased several enhancements to the PPO Scheduler, including:

  • Task-Level Planned Progress, giving users a more accurate view of performance against plan
  • Dependency arrows now visible in single project Gantt views
  • A new Calculated Predecessor field for better dependency management
  • Colour-coded bars and milestones for easier visual tracking
  • Fixes and improvements around summary task reporting and column header wrapping

These changes, while seemingly small, deliver significant improvements to day-to-day usability, helping project managers and teams plan more effectively, collaborate more easily, and work smarter with less effort.
