PPO Features that we’ve introduced (and loved) in 2022!

At the start of the year, we made a commitment to accelerate the development of new features and enhancements to ensure that the product keeps moving forward. Our DevOps team has been working tirelessly to bring new features, some small but all mighty in improving your user experience. The journey started with the introduction of our first widget which brought you interactive Gantt views, improved filter controls, improved formatting and general usability improvements. There’s no question that 2022 was a year of awesome new features but let’s recap some of our more recent enhancements.

Chart Widget

Up until now, you had to navigate to dashboards, select the dashboard, specify your parameters and generate the dashboard to get a graphical view of your data. Well, we’re pleased to report that’s no longer the case! The Chart Widget is the newest addition to our growing widget functionality and it allows users to configure their own interactive charts directly from the list page.

Conversations & Feed Widget

Say goodbye to long email chains, lost messages and missed updates! We decided that it would be better if all your project-related discussions were centralised in the right place, you guessed it, your favourite PPM tool! Plus, you get the benefit of a personalised feed keeping you informed of new conversations, replies and mentions. I don’t want to say that this has changed collaboration forever…but I think I just did!

But don’t take my word for it, see how it works…

Sort entities on Home Page & Project View page

Now PPO Admins can change the sort order of the entities on the Project View Page and Home Page with our new drag and drop functionality.

Business Intelligence (BI) API

This was our most anticipated feature. It gives users the ability to connect your PPO data to your BI reporting tool of choice. This means that you have the power to turn PPO’s raw data into insightful and interactive reports and dashboards and respond to stakeholders changing information needs.

See the feature in action…

Well, that’s a mouthful and there’s much more to look forward to in the coming months! Keep up to date with all our new product information by subscribing to our blog.
