Our first PPO Product Webinar of 2026 brought together clients from across the community to explore the latest enhancements designed to give users greater flexibility, clearer visibility, and simpler ways to manage work in PPO.
Here’s a quick recap of what we covered:
More Powerful and Flexible Home Pages
Several enhancements were introduced to give users greater flexibility when customising their PPO home pages and organising the information that matters most to them.
One of the most practical enhancements is the new Group By functionality in the List widget, allowing users to organise list data by grouping records based on a selected field. This makes it easier to structure information, scan large data sets, and quickly identify patterns or priorities directly within the list view.
We also introduced the new Copy Widget functionality. Users can now quickly duplicate widgets within the same panel or across panels, making it much faster to build and refine personalised views without having to recreate widgets from scratch.
For organisations using PPO’s time entry capability, Time Entries and Time Entry Summary data can now also be used as data sources on home page views. This enables teams to build quick visual insights into time captured and identify gaps without needing to navigate to separate reports or dashboards.
Together, these improvements give users more control over how they view, organise, and interact with their data directly from their home page.
Simplifying Input from Non-PPO Users
We also demonstrated PPO’s External Form feature, which enables organisations to capture ideas, project requests, initiatives, demand, projects or other inputs from users who do not require full access to PPO.
Rather than relying on custom-built integrations, organisations can now use configurable external forms to securely capture and submit information directly into PPO. This reduces technical overhead while making it easier for occasional contributors to participate in the project and demand management process.
Scheduler Improvements
Several improvements have been introduced to make scheduling easier and more intuitive.
These include the ability to create a resource-based Gantt view of planned time, helping teams better visualise capacity and planned allocations.
Additional enhancements improve day-to-day scheduling activities:
- Simplified task editing, allowing users to quickly adjust task duration or end dates with automatic timeline updates.
- Default start dates for new tasks, ensuring schedules remain aligned with logical sequencing while reducing manual updates.
- Improved Gantt exports, which now include a header when exporting to PDF for clearer and more professional outputs.
Together, these updates reduce manual effort while helping teams maintain accurate and well-structured project schedules.
Introducing the PPO Rockstar Programme
This webinar also marked the launch of our PPO Rockstar Programme for 2026.
The programme recognises clients who consistently attend and engage with our product webinars throughout the year.
Participants who attend all four webinars in 2026 and complete the post-session surveys will earn PPO Rockstar status and receive a PPO-branded hoodie. Those who attend three out of four sessions will receive a PPO-branded beanie.
It’s our way of encouraging continuous learning while celebrating the most engaged members of the PPO community.
