We’ve extended the Key Metric Widget to make it even more insightful and flexible. You can now perform simple arithmetic calculations — such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, or expressing one field as a percentage of another — directly within the widget, right from your list pages or personalised home page views.
Best of all, it’s designed so any user can do it — no need to be a PPO Administrator or rely on one to create calculated fields. This means less dependency on your PPO Admins or the PPO Support Desk to set up more complex calculations and a faster way to get the insights you want, when you need them. Here’s how users can apply it:
- Monitor the % of Projects with RED Governance to keep portfolio health in check.
- Track the % of Projects with a Negative Progress Variance to identify early delivery risks.
- Highlight the % of Overdue Risks to stay ahead of potential issues.
- Identify the % of Projects without Resource Allocations to manage capacity more effectively.
- Compare the variance between Estimated Hours and Estimate to Complete on Work Items for more accurate forecasting and improved sprint planning.
