We’re excited to introduce a major user experience upgrade: PPO’s new side panel!
Gone are the days of jumping between browser tabs just to add or edit an item. With our move toward a single-page application, you can now interact with your data without losing context or leaving your current screen.
What’s New?
When working in PPO – whether you’re navigating through a List View, Calendar, My List Widget, Board Views, or even using search – clicking on an item now opens a side panel instead of launching a new tab.
Here’s what you’ll notice:
- New “Actions” column: List pages now include an easy-to-spot column with two icons for View and Edit.
- Sleek side panel: Clicking either action will slide in a panel from the right-hand side, keeping you anchored in the same screen.
- All your actions in one place: View, Copy, edit, or add items directly in the panel.
- Quick access icons: Inside the panel, you’ll also find handy options to:

- Add to My List
- Copy the page URL
- Open the item in a new tab
- Expand the view
- Close the item

- Context preserved: Your list page stays right where you left it – no reloads, no new tabs.
Why This Matters
This upgrade delivers a faster, more focused way to work in PPO:
- One-click access to edit – no need to open a new tab or navigate away from the list.
- Smarter navigation – edit and view actions are always just a click away.
And this is just the beginning. The side panel marks the first step in a series of planned upgrades aimed at making PPO quicker, simpler, and more intuitive to use – all with less clicking and better flow.
