Spreading the cheer

We saved the best for last! As part of our corporate social responsibility endeavors, the PPO team hosted a Christmas themed event for the children living at the Phehella Day and Night Care Centre in Silverton, Pretoria. When we arrived, arms laden with gifts and snack packs, the party guests, in their Sunday best, were waiting for us at the garden gate. The eager kids were ushered back into the house where they waited as we set up their party feast and Christmas tree.

The mornings activities included saucy burgers and fries and decorating the tree with tinsel.  The tiniest little fellow was lifted above his housemates heads to put the angel on the highest branch. The gifts under the tree were hand selected, according to their age and gender, and lovingly packaged in boxes with personalised Christmas-Gilly themed name tags.
