Earth Day

Since the first Earth Day, April 22, 1970, it has been an annual event for people around the world to celebrate the earth and renew their commitment to building a safer, healthier and cleaner world for all by reducing and recycling.  We have only been actively taking part as a company in the last few years.

We feel Earth Day is a day for action and we have celebrated it and demonstrated our commitment to addressing environmental issues in a number of ways. This year we wanted to do something for a community in need and we were so inspired by the wonderful work done by  Lungisisa Indlela Village (LIV), so we thought to show our support to them, and mother earth, by donating 77 fruit trees to the children residing at LIV. The orchard’s future pickings will allow the children to make their very own Christmas puddings for years to come.

A simple, cartoon-style yellow fish with orange cheeks swims to the left, blowing three blue bubbles. The fish has a happy expression and is shown with a soft shadow below it.
